Our guest this week never intended to take the Santa Barbara wine scene by storm. His desire, and what he's accomplished, was to consistently make authentic wines of elegance and character that speak of place. Ernst Storm steers the ship of Storm Wines in Santa Barbara County. He's half of a winemaking brother duo: Hannes Storm heads Storm Wines-South Africa. Though separated by thousands of miles, the siblings communicate regularly and are effective sounding boards for both branches of the Storm Wines labels.
